Lunch Time

I ate my most recent meal at the Nagel cafeteria.  Of the three different types of food offered at that cafeteria I chose to get a meal swipe taco with rice and beans.  It was a difficult decision deciding to get the taco because the rotisserie always has good macaroni and cheese.  The rotisserie also has quality chicken and vegetables.
I was able to enjoy this meal with a group of fellow engineers.  We all have similar schedules and our last class before lunch was calculus.  After the class ended we all walked from John Green Hall to Nelson.  After looking over the options offered at Nelson the group decided to head to Nagel because the food at Nelson didn’t look very appetizing.
I choose to eat lunch because I had a break in between classes and I was hungry.  If I had skipped the meal then my body wouldn’t have the nutrients it needs to be alert and active in this class.
There are many ways to go about eating food.  I could of put it into a blender and drank it, but I choose to masticate my meal.  It is much more enjoyable and the taste of the food is much better is it isn’t puréed.

  1. I think I usually went with the tacos as well. Even though the chicken was usually charred and the rest of the ingredients were bland.
